SSI Stress and Rescue Diver

Rescue is a practical, tough but fun course and most students say that it increases their confidence and their dive skills by miles. You’ll be demanded physically, but you’ll leave the course with new knowledge about your diving habits, views, and the safety of others.

There is some online learning for you to complete before you begin the Rescue course, then Rescue skills are then completed shore diving over the weekend. Skills include dealing with tired and panicked divers on the surface, underwater and from a boat or shore; searching for missing divers and dealing with unresponsive divers. Once you have mastered skills we throw some scenario exercises at you so that you can practice applying those skills in a simulated real-life incident.
