Claris and Dredge Double Wreck Dive (Advanced Open Water)

The Claris
Two small vessels lie close to each other off Glenelg. The smaller, less intact vessel is widely consindered to be the Claris – mostly a field of debris – while the other wreck appears to be a half cabin cruiser. This unknown vessel is around 25m to the west of the Claris, and just covered in Carijoa soft corals that look like starry white christmas trees.
Maximum depth approximately 25-27m.
The Dredge
The Glenelg Dredge was sunk in 1984 as an artificial reef in 18-20m of water, and is a fantastc dive site with abundant fish life.
Maximum depth 18-20m.
This boat dive requires a minimum of PADI Advanced Open Water certification (or the equivalent from another training agency).
Boats depart from the lovely back deck of Adelaide Scuba. Please check in inside the shop on or before the start time of the tour.
An Advanced Dive tour is usually a full day, we recommend bringing some snacks or a light lunch on the boat.
All of our vessels are equipped with:

- All necessary safety equipment including Emergency O2, life rafts and float free EPIRB's
Our boat insurance requires all divers to have logged a dive within 6 the past months.
Please make sure you arrive with a logbook or evidence of your last logged dive.
